The visit involved several discussions with the leaders of the UCA and the ACN, interviews to the UCA newspaper, the web-based news service of the ACN, the daily newspaper La Prensa about the possibilities of the use of ocean currents for the environmental management of ship traffic and to the newspaper El Nuevo Diario about options for the use of ocean waves as a source of renewable energy, and the public lecture “Towards the use of ocean currents for environmental management of maritime activities” (UCA, 31.07).
